  • Pulp Friction to Run New Community Coffee Bar at Footprints Centre in Clifton

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Pulp Friction will be running the brand-new Community Coffee Bar at the new Footprints Centre in Clifton!

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Footprints Conductive Education Centre, another fantastic Nottingham-based charity, to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming space right in the heart of the community.

This isn’t just a café – it’s a hub of opportunity.

Day-to-day, the Coffee Bar (official name coming soon – stay tuned!) will be run by Pulp Friction’s Members, offering real-life work experience in a supportive and safe setting. From customer service to behind-the-scenes operations, our Members will be developing key skills for employment and independence – all while growing in confidence and self-belief.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to shine, and this partnership is all about creating more opportunities for our Members to do just that.

Powered by Partnership

Our collaboration with Footprints brings together two missions: empowering people to reach their potential, and building a more inclusive community. The coffee bar will be a space where families, friends, and neighbours can come together, enjoy a cuppa and homemade cake, and connect.

Whether you’re popping in for a drink, meeting others in the community, or supporting someone on their journey towards independence – you’ll be part of something bigger.

Jill Carter, Pulp Friction’s CEO said:
“We were delighted when Footprints approached us to run their new Coffee Bar. The Pulp Friction team are really looking forward to building on our relationship with the Footprints team, sharing our expertise in a new environment, and working together to create a warm and inclusive hub for the community to enjoy!”

Everyone’s Welcome

The Coffee Bar is designed to be inclusive and accessible for all – including the families and children supported by Footprints, and the wider Clifton community. We’re ambitious it will be a place where everyone feels at home.

We’re proud to be part of this brilliant project and can’t wait for you to experience the space for yourselves – your first cup is waiting!
