Pulp Friction CIO is a Nottingham-based charity dedicated to empowering Learning Disabled and Autistic individuals. Through a supportive and inclusive environment, the organisation provides meaningful opportunities for members to gain confidence, learn practical skills, and engage in real-world experiences that prepare them for employment and greater independence in their daily lives.
At Pulp Friction CIO, we use a person-centred approach to help our Members build confidence, and unlock their potential. We recognise and value the skills of Learning Disabled and Autistic people, and we want to highlight this to other employers and beyond.

We are empowering Learning Disabled and Autistic adults to succeed through real-life work experience, in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Food is intertwined in all that we do – we run community meals, manage canteens, and offer a variety of external catering options.
Our Members are pro-smoothie bike operators! We encourage Members to come along and help us at events, teaching the public how to blend their very own smoothies.
