Try it Tuesdays!

We were lucky to be involved with a fun, new initiative ‘Try it Tuesdays’.

Throughout January and February,  we worked alongside SongTime CIC to offer a 10-week series of fun activity sessions at Bestwood Park Church.

Each week we offered a different activity for members of the public to get involved in. Activities such as singing for fun, chair based exercises, craft sessions, breathing, games, and much more. All sessions were open to any age group and all activities were ensured to be dementia friendly.

The Try it Tuesdays sessions supported anyone to take part and have a go, sometimes encouraging people to go beyond their previous comfort zones to try something new and fun! Pulp Friction Members were able to get involved and help facilitate some sessions and activities which proved a great learning experience and the chance to show skills and socialise.

We really enjoyed being a part of the Try it Tuesday project!
