Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated nationally on February 17th with the goal to make kindness the norm all year round.
We decided to mark the day this year by offering the local community the chance to enjoy a free warm drink at our Community Cafe in Bestwood. Our Members designed some drink vouchers which customers could claim in the cafe on the 17th.
Members also gave out chocolates to the public in the local area which went down a storm!
When Yasmin gave a woman a bunch of daffodils, she was thrilled and said ‘I’ve haven’t had flowers for so long’.
